Snowfall Draws Record Tourist Surge to Ifrane’s Mountain Resorts

Ifrane is experiencing a considerable influx of domestic and foreign tourists since the beginning of the snowfall, with an occupancy rate in some classified tourist accommodation establishments of 75%.

The city has 62 classified hotel establishments, with a bed capacity of more than 3,000 beds, 13 hotels, 4 hotel residences, 2 guest houses, 9 hostels, 19 guesthouses, 7 pensions and 2 campsites. There are also accommodation units related to social and associative tourism, in particular summer centers belonging to the social welfare associations of the private and public sectors.
The prospects are also good for Ifrane. This year, 35 new tourist accommodation establishments will be built with a total investment of 385.5 MDH. Their accommodation capacity is 2,000 beds. This will strengthen the hotel infrastructure of the city of Ifrane and its province.
