Also called the "capital of the cedar", the snowfall of recent weeks makes it a highly sought-after city. And to attract the most visitors, the authorities are showing great ingenuity by making very attractive tourist proposals to satisfy all tastes and all ages, reports Map.

In her marketing approach, the provincial delegate of tourism in Ifrane, Meryem Oudaani, emphasizes the architecture, climate and natural and tourist assets that make Ifrane a destination of choice for visitors. She especially does not forget to point out that the city has more than 60 tourist sites, 40 of which are natural, such as the ski resorts, archaeological sites and various lakes and springs.

The city recorded a large influx of tourists last weekend, who came to enjoy the nature, the snow and practice sports activities, especially skiing at the Michlifen and Habri stations, said the tourism delegate, noting that the hotels in the province of Ifrane, all categories combined, were fully booked and the occupancy rate reached 80% in some tourist accommodation establishments. The influx of tourists should, according to her, continue in the coming days, for the delight of the province’s economy.
