Slavia Prague Considers Cutting Ties with Struggling Midfielder Ihattaren

Slavia Prague would consider parting ways with Mohamed Ihattaren. The Czech club would not be satisfied with the performances of the Dutch midfielder of Moroccan origin.
According to local media, Slavia Prague would seriously consider terminating Ihattaren’s contract. Arrived at Slavia Prague in December, Mo Ihattaren joined the B team to work on his physical condition. "Our plan is to bring him back to a certain level, so that he can train with the A team," coach Jindrich Trpisovsky had said.
But two months later, the former Ajax and PSV player has failed to make a good impression to earn a place in the first team. Last month, the Czech club had expressed its dissatisfaction with the player’s form. "The situation of Mohamed Ihattaren does not seem very positive at the moment. The termination of his contract is being considered," reports the Czech media iSport.
The midfielder signed in December with Slavia Prague a one-year performance contract, with an option to renew for three years. Unfortunately, Mo Ihattaren has failed to relaunch his career, after the series of setbacks he has experienced in recent years. The Utrecht player is being prosecuted for assault and battery against influencer Yasmine Driouech, his fiancée at the time and now his wife.
