Six Minors Arrested in Morocco for Gang Violence and Property Damage

Seven individuals, including six minors, were arrested by the anti-gang brigade of the provincial security department in Salé. They are allegedly involved in acts of violence, assault and destruction of property.
The suspects, aged 14 to 17, belong to two rival football fan factions in the cities of Rabat and Salé. According to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), they had entered into a conflict that "degenerated into an exchange of violence and stone throwing, causing material damage to a parked car in Hay Essalam." The immediate intervention of the police allowed the arrest of the seven suspects and the seizure of a knife in possession of one of them.
Pending the conclusions of the investigation, the minor suspects have been placed under surveillance, while the only adult suspect has been taken into custody. The research and investigations continue in order to arrest all the people possibly involved in the commission of these criminal acts, specifies the DGSN.
