Casablanca Police Arrest 5 Football Fans After Violent Clash Leaves One Injured

Five supporters, including two minors, were arrested on Friday, July 17 in Casablanca by the police. They would be involved in acts of violence that caused extensive damage.
According to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the suspects belong to two rival factions of football supporters from the city of Casablanca. A conflict that opposed them ended up degenerating into "an exchange of violence and stone throwing in an uninhabited area in the Arrahma district". Before the police had time to intervene, one of the supporters was injured in the head.
The two minor defendants were placed under surveillance, while the adults were taken into custody, at the disposal of the investigation opened to elucidate the ins and outs of this case. According to the same source, the research and investigations continue in order to arrest all the people who would be involved in these criminal acts.
