Sextape Scandal: Two Arrested for Distributing Videos of Mauritanian Healer’s Alleged Assaults

After their arrest, the two alleged authors of the sextapes showing women, married or not, in intimate moments with a Mauritanian "raqi" at his home appeared before the court of first instance of Laâyoune on Wednesday.
The arrest of the two alleged authors of the dissemination took place last week. They are being prosecuted in custody for "dissemination of pornographic videos", "aggravated theft", "repeated violations of the home of others", "dissemination of private photos of people without their consent". On Wednesday, they appeared before the court of first instance of Laâyoune, reports Al Akhbar. No information has been communicated so far on the trial.
In the videos, a Mauritanian "raqi" is seen raping his clients during "consultations" and filming the scenes with the cameras of his mobile phones. The faces and bodies of the victims are also visible. The two young people from Laâyoune who were arrested had stolen the devices of the alleged rapist before disseminating them on a large scale. An investigation was then opened to elucidate this case and apprehend the sexual predator, still on the run.
