Manhunt in Morocco for Mauritanian Faith Healer Accused of Raping Clients

The security services of the wilaya of Laâyoune are conducting investigations to arrest a Mauritanian "raqi" who was raping his clients during "consultations" and filming the scenes with the cameras of his mobile phones.
The widespread dissemination of videos on the rapes committed by this Mauritanian who was posing as a healer has alerted the elements of the judicial police of Laâyoune. They managed to arrest two individuals who were among those who posted the video on social networks. According to the elements of the preliminary investigation, these two criminals would have stolen the mobile phones of the Mauritanian. After discovering the rape videos, they decided to disseminate them on WhatsApp and other social media. According to them, their approach aimed to denounce the unhealthy practices of this fake healer.
Since then, the Mauritanian is on the run. This man who claimed to be a raqi was in an irregular situation in Laâyoune. He always persuaded his clients - women in a state of severe psychological distress - that it was necessary to practice a sexual act combined with Quranic verses to exorcise the jinns, break spells, etc. Thus, he did not hesitate to rape them and film the scenes. Then he blackmailed them. This allowed him to sexually exploit his victims on a permanent basis.
Pending the arrest of the Mauritanian and his arrest, a judicial investigation has been opened under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office. Already, some victims of the fake healer have been questioned.
