Sevilla FC Looks to Offload Struggling Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri in Summer Transfer Window

Sevilla FC is determined to part ways this summer with Youssef En-Nesyri, who has been in very poor form since the start of the season. But the Moroccan striker has already made it clear several times that he has no intention of leaving the Spanish club.
While Youssef En-Nesyri is in the United States with the Atlas Lions to play a friendly match on June 2 and will likely be retained for the upcoming matches scheduled in June against South Africa and Liberia as part of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Sevilla FC is considering selling him to the highest bidder in the next summer transfer window, AS believes.
The Moroccan striker has not had good statistics this season. Injured and having participated in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon last January, he has not been very active in Seville and has only 5 goals and 3 assists to his name, while last season he scored a total of 24 goals in all competitions (La Liga and Champions League).

This drop in form is worrying Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui, who has not started him in some important matches. And the club’s management, in view of these results, is seriously considering parting ways with Youssef En-Nesyri. But the Moroccan, who will turn 25 this Wednesday, June 1, does not want to leave the Spanish club and has already declined several tempting offers, such as that of West Ham which had offered more than 30 million euros in January 2021 to secure his services.
Sevilla FC is expecting offers of at least 20 million euros, the amount it paid to Leganés for the transfer of En-Nesyri in the winter of 2020. It remains to be seen whether the Moroccan striker is willing to leave. A more interesting offer than that of West Ham could perhaps change his mind.
