Sevilla FC Striker En-Nesyri’s Form Slump Raises Concerns After Stellar Season

The Moroccan striker of FC Seville, Youssef En-Nesyri, is again in poor form. His current performance is far from that of last season when he attracted the interest of several major European clubs.
Youssef En-Nesyri was in his best form last season after a difficult first year at FC Seville. The former Leganés striker had put in some interesting performances, to the point of attracting the attention of major European clubs, according to Fichajes, specifying that the 23-year-old Moroccan has unfortunately not been able to maintain the pace this season.
Coach Julen Lopetegui was counting a lot on En-Nesyri to help Seville win the Spanish championship this season, but the player is currently in very poor form, which has also earned him some criticism. Despite the arrival of Rafael Mir during the winter transfer window, En-Nesyri’s performance has not improved.
The Moroccan international will have to give his best for the rest of the season in order to regain the confidence of Lopetegui and the club’s management, at the risk of being replaced by a more effective striker or being transferred to another club.
