Sevilla FC Coach Lopetegui Holds Key Talks with Striker En-Nesyri Ahead of Season
At the end of the training session this Wednesday, the FC Seville coach, Julen Lopetegui, had an in-depth discussion with Youssef En-Nesyri, a key player in the squad.
Despite his drop in form last season due to an injury, Youssef En-Nesyri remains an essential element of the FC Seville system. The Spanish club still counts on him to win more victories. This is why Julen Lopetegui exchanged for several minutes with the Moroccan striker to assess his state of mind at the start of the season. Lopetegui’s technical assistants participated in this discussion, reports El Desmarque.
For now, Seville needs En-Nesyri, as several players like Rafa Mir, Suso or Marcao have still not recovered from their injuries. Rony Lopes, recovered, joined the team for training on Tuesday. The club’s management (Monchi and Lopetegui) do not want to operate this season with injured players, as they did last year.
