Sevilla FC Looks to Offload Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri Amid Transfer Shakeup
Youssef En-Nesyri will likely bid farewell to Sevilla FC, with the probable arrival of Raúl de Tomás to strengthen the attack. The Moroccan player no longer has a place in the plans of the club’s management, who have already put him on the transfer market.
The departure of Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla FC is becoming more certain. The Moroccan international has already been left on the sidelines by coach Julen Lopetegui, who did not call him up for the first day of La Liga. With the presence of Rafa Mir and the announced arrival of Raúl de Tomás to strengthen the Sevilla attack, En-Nesyri would definitively lose his place in Lopetegui’s system, according to Fichajes.
The Moroccan player is undoubtedly one of the most criticized footballers by Sevilla FC supporters. The reason is his lack of efficiency in front of goal in recent matches. En-Nesyri has only scored about half a dozen goals this season, after spending a good amount of time away from the pitch due to injury.
For now, two clubs are interested in the Moroccan striker: West Ham and AS Monaco. Monchi is aware that En-Nesyri’s value has dropped considerably due to his drop in form this season and should not expect to receive attractive offers.
