Sevilla FC’s Goalkeeper Bounou in Doubt for Crucial Barcelona Clash After Head Injury

Injured during the return match between Morocco and the Democratic Republic of Congo, counting for the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Yassine Bounou risks not recovering in time for the decisive match between Sevilla FC and FC Barcelona in the Spanish championship scheduled for this Sunday.
The Moroccan goalkeeper of Sevilla FC suffered a severe blow to the head during the return match Morocco-DR Congo (4-1) on Tuesday, and was replaced before half-time. With this injury, Yassine Bounou could miss the crucial match between Barça and Sevilla scheduled for this Sunday at 9 pm at the Camp Nou, reports Mundo Deportivo.

In accordance with the protocol, Yassine Bounou will be under observation for a few days before being able to join the team and resume training.
