Severe Weather Alert: Morocco Braces for Thunderstorms and Strong Winds

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) announced heavy thunderstorms and gusts of wind between Wednesday and Thursday in several Moroccan provinces.
Heavy thunderstorms at the orange level (30 to 40 mm) are expected from Wednesday at 1:00 pm to Thursday at 6:00 am, in the provinces of Azilal, Béni Mellal, Ifrane, Khénifra and Midelt, the DGM specifies in a special weather bulletin, noting that moderate thunderstorms may persist on Thursday on the Middle Atlas, the Saiss and the Rif.
