Serial Burglar Arrested in Tangier for Multiple Commercial Break-ins

A 32-year-old individual with numerous criminal records was arrested on Saturday, August 31, by the Prefectural Judicial Police Service of Tangier. He is accused of being allegedly involved in a case of multiple thefts with burglary in commercial premises, according to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
Now in the clutches of the security elements, this individual will no longer be able to operate with impunity as in the past in commercial premises.
The suspect was apprehended in possession of metal objects that would have been used to break the locks of stores to commit these thefts, the DGSN notes.
The investigations carried out on this case revealed the involvement of the defendant in burglary thefts from shops, late at night, including a theft targeting a pharmacy last July.
Regarding the theft for which he is now being prosecuted, the suspect threw the stolen money on the public highway, after he had not succeeded in carrying out his act.
For the needs of the investigation, the accused was taken into custody, pending the continuation of the investigations.
