Search Intensifies for Young Moroccan Fisherman Missing at Sea

The sinking of the boat last Wednesday has not finished drawing up its balance of despair. After Soufiane, it is the parents of another young man who are fighting to get news of their child. This is Mohamed Chelaf Hammout, a 28-year-old fisherman born in Belyounech. The family is "desperate," explains El Faro de Ceuta. The parents of the young Moroccan have published a missing person notice with the name and photo of their child to find out where he is and if he is still alive.
According to the information relayed by the same media, Mohamed is part of the group of young Moroccans who boarded a makeshift boat and were surprised by the storm last Wednesday. He is one of those who disappeared after the sinking of the boat. "He left in search of a better life," says his cousin. The latter is now trying to find out what happened to him. It is mainly the lack of information that arouses more despair within the families affected by this tragedy, adds the newspaper.
