Two Moroccan Migrants Missing After Attempting to Swim to Spanish Enclave Ceuta

Two young Moroccans, immigration candidates, tried to swim across Ceuta to reach Spain. Without news of them for a few days, their desperate families are asking for help.
Mohamed Ouskir and Ahmed Buhbouh, two Moroccans from Fnideq, have disappeared at sea while trying to cross Ceuta by swimming. Their families, desperate, are asking for help. But for the moment, no organization or administration has been informed of these disappearances, reports El Faro de Ceuta.
Mohamed Ouskir, 26, disappeared on Monday, around five o’clock in the morning, after trying to cross the Tarajal by swimming, accompanied by other friends. Since then, his family has had no news of him.
As for Ahmed Buhbouh, 32, he disappeared since last Wednesday, taking the same swimming route with friends. He has not given any sign of life so far. His worried family is trying to find out if he is alive or dead.
These disappearances at sea of young Moroccans, candidates for illegal immigration, have become commonplace since the closure of the Moroccan borders due to the health crisis. Most of them, who have lost all hope in Morocco, are leaving in search of a better future, at the risk of their lives.
