Sarkozy Hails Morocco’s King as ’Visionary Leader’ at Book Launch Event

The former French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, has once again praised King Mohammed VI, describing him as an "exceptional man and one of the great wise and visionary leaders".
During the presentation of his book "The Time of Battles", Nicolas Sarkozy took the opportunity to express his admiration for King Mohammed VI, describing him as an exceptional man and a visionary leader.
The ceremony, organized by the Council for Development and Solidarity (CDS), brought together personalities from the political, diplomatic, economic and cultural spheres, including the King’s Advisor, André Azoulay, and the French Ambassador to Morocco, Christophe Lecourtier.
The former French president highlighted the importance of the relationship between Morocco and France, describing it as exceptional and based on a shared history and a common future. He spoke of the similarities and differences between the two countries, evoking a special bond, mutual affection and a shared understanding. "We share the same interests and relationships and we are so different but so close," he said.
