Sardine Truck Overturns at Dakhla Port, Spilling Tons of Fish

The driver of a large refrigerated fish truck lost control of his vehicle on Friday, August 16, 2019, at the main entrance to the Port of Dakhla. This fall of the vehicle concerned damaged tons of sardines, according to a statement from the port authorities.
Big loss for the factory that owns the truck. Its driver had the fright of his life. As he was leaving the main entrance to the Port of Dakhla, he lost control of the vehicle which overturned, thus damaging tons of sardines, local sources told barlamane.com.
According to the same media, these tons of sardines were destined for a factory located near the port area. Fortunately, no human damage was recorded.
The competent authorities immediately went to the scene of the accident to observe the collection of the tons of fish overturned on the road, now destined for the trash. In addition, an investigation has been opened to determine the ins and outs of this accident.
