An accident occurred very early last Wednesday on the Rabat-Kenitra highway, leaving two injured.
The cause of the tragedy was a heavy truck, transporting sardines, that overturned. The driver is said to have lost control of the vehicle due to the fog, reports barlamane.com.
The civil protection elements dispatched to the scene transported the victims to the hospital for the necessary care. An investigation was opened by the royal gendarmerie services to determine the exact circumstances of this accident.
Taking advantage of the confusion resulting from the accident, some locals stole a few kilos of sardines, indicates the same source.
