Salafist Vigilantes Attack Man in Fez Over Alleged Affair, Face Criminal Charges

To take justice into their own hands, radicalized individuals beat up a young man in Fez, suspected of having had intimate relations with their neighbor. The justice system has decided to take up the case.

The Salafists defied the authorities by beating up a young man accused of having a romantic relationship with their neighbor.

Brutally assaulted, the victim could only count on himself. He was able to extricate himself before fleeing.

Prosecuted on provisional release by the prosecutor of the court of first instance, the Salafists will soon have to appear before the criminal chamber.
