Saint-Etienne Signs Monaco Midfielder Youssef Aït Bennasser on Loan
The AS Saint-Etienne club has just announced the arrival of Moroccan international Youssef Aït Bennasser, who was playing until now for AS Monaco.
The player has been loaned until the end of the season, indicates France Football, specifying that there is no purchase option on this transfer. "It is now official. Youssef Aït-Bennasser, the Moroccan midfielder from Monaco, will finish the season on loan, without a purchase option, at Saint-Etienne," we read.
Since the start of the season, Youssef Aït Bennasser has been fielded 18 times with Monaco, a club currently fighting for its Ligue 1 survival. "I am very happy to join Saint-Etienne, a very great French club. This is a new step for me," said the player.
Of French nationality, Bennasser long hesitated for his sporting nationality before definitively opting for Morocco in March 2016.
