Moroccan Midfielder Ait Bennasser Eyes Move to Egypt’s Zamalek After Monaco Exit

Moroccan player Youssef Ait Bennasser, whose contract with AS Monaco expires on June 30, could quickly get back on his feet, more precisely in the Egyptian championship. This transfer, if it materializes, will allow the player to give new impetus to his career.
After joining Girondins de Bordeaux last season on loan with a purchase option of 4 million euros, Ait Bennasser returned to Monaco without much conviction.
It is the Egyptian press that revealed Zamalek’s interest in Youssef Ait Bennasser. The midfielder would be the ideal candidate to replace Ferjani Sassi, whose contract could not be renewed. Negotiations for an agreement will be much easier with the Moroccan player who has the advantage of being free of any contract. A status that suits Zamalek well, who, like many clubs, is going through a financial crisis.
At the age of 24, the player’s career has experienced some disruptions. Out of the 13 matches he played with the Girondins de Bordeaux, Aït Bennasser was not performing well enough, which prompted the club’s management not to extend his loan.
