AS Saint-Étienne continues to strengthen its squad during the summer transfer window. Faced with the possible departure of Niels Nkounkou, the Stéphanois club has acted quickly to find a solution.
The chosen target is the young Moroccan left-back Mahmoud Bentayg, currently at Raja Club Athletic in Casablanca.
At 23 years old, Mahmoud Bentayg is seen as an ideal replacement for the vacant position on the left side. The Stéphanois club should thus invest 600,000 euros to ensure the transfer of the player, marking another step in the construction of its team for the new season.
