Safran teams in Morocco are working on the A400M military program
A Safran job posting details the missions carried out in Témara on several aerospace programs, including the A400M military transport aircraft. The Moroccan site notably prepares the modification and rework instructions used after nonconformities are detected.
The information appears in a job posting published by Safran on September 8. Safran Electrical & Power is seeking a “post-delivery methods” technician in Témara, reporting to its industrial division.
The position involves analyzing customers’ technical documents, two-dimensional drawings and digital models. The technician must then prepare modification work instructions, on paper or digitally, for the A350, A400M, A330 and A320 programs.

These missions also include preparing rework and securing operations when nonconformities are detected internally or by a customer. Safran specifically requires knowledge of aircraft wiring.
The A400M handled from Témara
The presence of the A400M on this list shows that Safran Electrical & Power’s Moroccan site also works on military programs. The Témara teams do not build the aircraft: they prepare the documents and methods required for certain technical modifications and rework operations.
Designed by Airbus, the A400M can carry up to 37 tonnes of equipment. This aircraft combines the capabilities of a strategic transport aircraft with those of a tactical aircraft capable of operating from short or unprepared runways. It notably serves the French, German, Spanish and British armed forces.

Safran is simultaneously expanding its presence in the kingdom, with new investments in engine production and maintenance. The group has already defended this shared industrial organization, explaining in particular how its Moroccan plant had helped preserve a strategic activity in France.
The A400M is not the only military program linking Safran to Morocco. The future H225M helicopters of the Royal Moroccan Air Force are to receive the French group’s Euroflir 410, an electro-optical system intended for intelligence, surveillance, search and rescue missions.
