The emergency program also targets the revival of the city’s economic activity. It provides financial support and professional relocation solutions for 53 affected street vendors, and finances the rehabilitation of 499 damaged commercial premises, with a dedicated grant to help them resume operations.

Lastly, the plan includes repairing roads, affected neighborhoods, and certain historic monuments. At the same time, preventive measures are underway, including the maintenance of riverbeds and a comprehensive study conducted with the Oum Er-Rbia Hydraulic Basin Agency and the NOVEC firm, with the aim of designing an integrated protection system against future floods.
