Ryanair Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Morocco Due to Unruly Passenger

An incident that occurred on Wednesday on a Ryanair flight from Dublin to Lanzarote forced the aircraft to divert to Agadir airport.
The reason for this unexpected change of trajectory was the disruptive behavior of one of the passengers on board, requiring immediate intervention, Ryanair said in a statement, stating that the plane made an emergency landing at Agadir Al Massira airport.
The Moroccan authorities were mobilized to manage the situation upon the plane’s arrival. The disruptive passenger was taken care of by the local police, following a request from the plane’s crew for assistance upon arrival, it was further stated.
Shortly after the incident, the flight was able to resume its journey to its initial destination, Lanzarote. Ryanair, in a statement, confirmed that the incident was now in the hands of the Moroccan authorities, without however providing further details on the identity of the passenger involved.
