Air Arabia Flight Diverts to Rabat After Bird Strike During Tangier Takeoff

An Air Arabia plane was involved in an incident during its takeoff from Ibn Battouta International Airport in Tangier.
The flight, which connected the city of Tangier to Paris, was disrupted by a collision with a bird. The incident occurred just as the plane was taking off, en route to the French capital.
Faced with this situation, the crew of the aircraft, registered as CN-NMQ, had to make a quick and urgent decision. Despite the attempt to return to the departure airport, the unfavorable weather conditions and the lack of adequate equipment in Tangier forced the plane to divert to Rabat airport. There, it was able to make an emergency landing, thus ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board.
Once at Rabat-Salé airport, the plane was immobilized for a thorough technical inspection. Meanwhile, the passengers were taken care of by the airline, which arranged for them to be transported to their final destination in Paris on another flight.
