Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov to Visit Morocco for Arab-Russian Forum

Sergei Lavrov, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs is announced next week in Morocco, where he will participate in the Arab-Russian cooperation forum to be held in Marrakech. A visit to several countries in the Middle East and Africa has also been planned.
This diplomatic tour, which starts on December 12, will take the Russian Foreign Minister respectively to Israel, Palestine, Algeria and Morocco, reports the Russia Today website.
During his stay in Morocco, Lavrov will participate in the Arab-Russian Cooperation Forum in Marrakech and will have bilateral talks with Moroccan officials, detailed Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and personal envoy of President Vladimir Putin for the Middle East and Africa.
He added: "We are working to prepare this meeting with the Secretary General of the Arab League and our Moroccan partners. We hope for strong representation of Arab League members and our Arab partners at the level of Foreign Ministers".
