Several victims fell into the trap of a simple soldier, who managed to deceive them, by highlighting the royal palace, to promise them imaginary solutions, in exchange for hard cash.
The soldier who, according to rue20, was part of an organized mafia, promised his victims positions within the royal palace, integration into the Royal Armed Forces or emigration abroad.
Employed within a military base in Salé, the suspect was very active on Facebook and carefully chose his victims, especially women, on the various dating pages.
He emphasized his power and the many contacts likely to help them resolve their legal affairs.
The trial of the accused was marked by the presence of several senior officials within the Royal Armed Forces, the Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, as well as that of the delegate minister in charge of national defense administration.
