Royal Air Maroc Soars: Massive Fleet Expansion Targets 200 Aircraft for World Cup 2030

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is pursuing its expansion program aimed at bringing the airline’s fleet to an unprecedented level before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco 2025) and the 2030 FIFA World Cup. The company has just acquired new aircraft.
The Royal Air Maroc (RAM) fleet is expanding with the acquisition of a Boeing 737 Max-8 from Qatar Airways "Five Boeing 737 Max-8 have already been received since May, including two leased from the Dubai-based company EDA". With this new aircraft, the company’s fleet now reaches 59 aircraft.
More deliveries are expected in the coming months. "Royal Air Maroc plans to acquire ten new aircraft in 2025 - including those already delivered - and ten more in 2026," announced Abdessamad Kayouh, Minister of Transport and Logistics, specifying that "Morocco intends to bring the fleet of the national company to 200 aircraft by 2037".
These acquisitions are part of RAM’s expansion program aimed at bringing the company’s fleet to an unprecedented level before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
