Royal Air Maroc: a new Boeing 787 Dreamliner arrives to strengthen the long-haul fleet
The fleet of Royal Air Maroc continues to grow. The national carrier has just received a new long-haul aircraft, marking a new stage in its strategic expansion plan aimed at strengthening its global presence.
A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, registered CN-RHB, landed at dawn this Sunday, November 2nd at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca. The aircraft, which arrived directly from the Boeing factory in Everett, Washington, is brand new. It is the eleventh Dreamliner in the company’s fleet and will enter service after the usual test flights.
A growth plan aimed at 200 aircraft by 2030
This new acquisition is part of an ambitious growth plan for the national company. Royal Air Maroc’s fleet is expected to reach 72 aircraft by 2026, with a strategic objective of 200 aircraft by 2030.
The purchase of these high-capacity aircraft is essential for this expansion strategy. It will allow RAM to open new direct routes to continents currently underserved or not served at all, such as Australia, Southeast Asia, and Southern Africa, and to strengthen its presence in North and South America.
