The announcement of this flight follows a decision made by the Moroccan authorities. On Monday, they exceptionally authorized passenger flights to the Kingdom from Portugal, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, in order to allow Moroccan citizens residing there and who have recently left the national territory to return to Morocco.
According to the health protocol that will apply, the Moroccans concerned will have to present, before boarding, a PCR test less than 48 hours old. Passengers will be confined for 7 days in dedicated hotels, at the expense of the Moroccan government. Similarly, PCR tests will be carried out during the confinement period, every 48 hours, and any person who tests positive at the airport or at the hotel will be taken care of by the competent health authorities.
