Royal Air Maroc Announces Final Repatriation Flights for Moroccans Before December 23 Deadline

The airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has unveiled the full program of its repatriation flights until December 23, following the decision of the Moroccan authorities to end the system put in place to allow the return to Morocco of Moroccans who actually reside there and who have recently left the national territory.
As of December 23, 2021, no special flights will be organized to allow Moroccans actually residing in Morocco and stranded abroad to return to the national territory. On Monday, the Moroccan authorities authorized, exceptionally, passenger flights to the kingdom from Portugal, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, before announcing that they would end this system as of next Thursday. Consequently, the Moroccans concerned must make the necessary arrangements for their return, before this date.
Royal Air Maroc is scheduling flights from Lisbon (Portugal) to Morocco (Casablanca, Fez, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir) from December 16 to 22, 2021. As for the Turkey destination, it will operate flights from Istanbul to Morocco (Casablanca, Tangier, and Marrakech) from December 16 to 22. Finally, the national airline is organizing flights from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Morocco (Fez, Agadir) from December 18 to 19, 2021.
