Royal Air Maroc is back at Lille-Lesquin airport with a direct line to Casablanca. Two flights per week are scheduled, offering travelers from northern France a new gateway to Morocco and the airline’s African network.

The route operates twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays. It allows travelers from the Hauts-de-France region to reach Casablanca directly, and also to continue their journey to other Moroccan or African cities via Royal Air Maroc’s hub.

On its website, the airline already offers Lille-Casablanca flights. It also highlights several destinations accessible from Lille with connections, notably Agadir, Dakhla, Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou, Douala, Bamako, Conakry, Libreville and Niamey.

Casablanca as a gateway

This return to Lille is important for Moroccans in northern France, long forced to travel through Paris, Brussels or other airports to reach Morocco. With this connection, Casablanca becomes a direct gateway to the Kingdom again, but also to the rest of RAM’s network.

For Royal Air Maroc, this expansion is part of a broader strategy: strengthening European routes to Casablanca and consolidating its hub’s role in connections between Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.

The resumption of Lille-Casablanca also comes in a context of strong summer demand, with many Moroccans living in France traveling to Morocco during vacations. Two weekly rotations can thus offer a convenient alternative for travelers from the northern part of the country.
