Royal Air Maroc to Launch Direct Flights Between Casablanca and London-Stansted

In order to strengthen its presence in the United Kingdom, the national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plans to launch a direct line between Casablanca airport and London-Stansted airport.
A new link for Royal Air Maroc. The Moroccan airline will launch a new direct line between Casablanca airport and London-Stansted airport in June, reports The Sun. The flights will be operated by a Boeing 737-800 every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, or three weekly frequencies. The journeys last three hours and 20 minutes. One-way fares are set from £145 per person. This new link brings to three the number of lines operated by Royal Air Maroc in the United Kingdom. The company already operates flights from Heathrow and Gatwick airports to Casablanca.
"Of all the airports in all the cities in the world, Royal Air Maroc has chosen London Stansted for its new direct line to Casablanca, a decision we are really delighted with," says Ciaran Brannigan, Commercial Director of London Stansted. He is convinced that this service will offer passengers more choice and convenience when traveling to North Africa, whether for business, leisure or connecting to the airline’s wider network. For Brannigan, Casablanca is an iconic destination, "and we are confident that this new route will be the start of a beautiful friendship between Royal Air Maroc and London Stansted."
As the largest city in Morocco, Casablanca is home to several attractions, including the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Other tourist attractions: the Corniche, the city’s coastal promenade that offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the beaches near Casablanca such as Ain Diab beach, La Corniche beach and Tamaris beach.
