Weather in Paris: Royal Air Maroc cancels several flights this Wednesday, January 7
Storm warning for travelers to or from France. Due to deteriorating weather conditions in the Paris region, Royal Air Maroc has been forced to cancel some scheduled flights this Wednesday, January 7, 2026. The national airline has put in place a special system to manage the affected passengers.
The display board is turning red for certain routes. As confirmed by the Paris airport website, the AT737 flight connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to Rabat, scheduled for 12:20 pm, has been officially cancelled. However, other routes seem to be spared for the time being, such as the AT779 flight to Casablanca (12:15 pm), which is still displayed as "on time".
This disruption is directly related to the bad weather hitting the Île-de-France region. Faced with this force majeure situation, RAM has activated its contingency plan to assist its customers.
Free rebooking or refund: the options
The airline announces that it is automatically transferring passengers to other flights. Those whose contact details are up to date will receive details of their new trip by SMS or email. For the others, it is imperative to check the status of their flight on the website in the "Manage my booking" section.
For travelers who would refuse the proposed rerouting flight, Royal Air Maroc offers two alternatives:
• Free rebooking of the travel date within 15 days of the cancellation (in the same cabin, to or from France).
• Full refund of the ticket via the original payment method.
If your flight is cancelled and you have not received a rebooking confirmation, do not go to the airport. First contact your point of sale or the call center to avoid any inconvenience.
