Royal Air Maroc to Launch Twice-Weekly Flights Between Rabat and Dakhla

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced the opening of a new air route connecting Rabat to the pearl of the Moroccan South, Dakhla, starting January 15, 2025.
Two weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Fridays, will ensure the connection between the two cities. Travelers will depart from Rabat at 6:50 pm to land in Dakhla at 9:30 pm. The return flight is scheduled at 10:10 pm, with an arrival in the capital at 12:25 am.
The result of a partnership between RAM and the Dakhla Oued-Eddahab region, this initiative aims to boost tourism in this region with undeniable assets. To encourage travelers, the price of a round-trip ticket in economy class has been set at 2,000 dirhams.
This new route complements the two daily flights already operated by RAM between Casablanca and Dakhla. It "will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening the air connectivity of Dakhla and the southern provinces in general," said Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of RAM.
More than just an air link, this initiative is part of a global strategy to develop the company’s domestic network, in line with the objectives of the program contract signed with the Moroccan government in July 2023.
