Royal Air Maroc to Launch Direct Paris-Dakhla Flights, Boosting Morocco Tourism

Subject to the reopening of the Moroccan borders, the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will launch two weekly direct flights between Dakhla and Paris. A first.
The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has contributed to the establishment of the direct link between Dakhla and Paris and has moreover committed to securing these two lines for the next season, reports Le360. RAM will officially announce this new route in the coming days.
In the past, this line had been operated by the low-cost company Transavia before being suspended due to the health crisis related to Covid-19. It has not, for the time being, decided to resume its Paris-Dakhla flights. However, tickets are available on its online sales platform from spring 2021.
The launch of new routes to serve other Moroccan cities will also be announced. This will support the recovery plan for the tourism sector, vital for the country.
