Royal Air Maroc Launches Direct Paris-Dakhla Flights, Connecting Europe to Western Sahara

The airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is preparing to launch, starting February 12, 2021, a new direct air route Paris-Dakhla, with two frequencies per week. This, in close collaboration with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT).
Thanks to this new air route, the national airline will connect, for the first time, the European continent (with the exception of the Canary Islands) to the city of Dakhla, in less than 04H30 of flight, RAM said in a press release.
The flights will be operated every Tuesday and Friday, the same source adds, stating that the flights departing from Paris are scheduled at 09:45 (local time) for an arrival in Dakhla at 14:25 (local time), while the flights departing from Dakhla will take off at 15:25 (local time) for an arrival in Paris at 19:45 (local time).
By choosing to activate this route, the ONMT intends to involve the airline in this significant tourist niche for the relaunch of the sector. "Royal Air Maroc has always supported Moroccan tourism. In these times of crisis, it is necessary to work together for the relaunch of this strategic sector for our country. This new direct line will allow international visitors to benefit from the city of Dakhla and the Moroccan experience from the moment they board in Paris," said Hamid Addou, CEO of RAM.
