Roma Pursues Chelsea’s Ziyech as World Cup Star Seeks Exit

As Chelsea is shaking up the transfer market and has already recruited several players like Mykhaylo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and João Félix, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, to whom the English club gives little playing time, is desperately looking for a club to leave Stamford Bridge. Currently, the Atlas Lion is in talks with AS Roma.
Ziyech is more determined than ever to leave Chelsea. He is in talks with AS Roma with a view to a transfer during this winter transfer window, reports The Sun. The coach of the Italian club, José Mourinho, would also show interest in the one who shone during the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2020 from Ajax Amsterdam as part of a 40 million euro contract, Ziyech has not been able to establish himself at Stamford Bridge. He has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 98 appearances. Performances that have not satisfied the English club, which is active in strengthening its squad in the hope of regaining its former glory.
