Rising Star Mohamed Ali-Cho Set to Choose Morocco Over France for International Soccer Career

The Real Sociedad striker, Mohamed Ali-Cho, seems to be leaning towards Morocco. The 19-year-old footballer, of Ivorian and Moroccan origin, but with French and English nationalities, would indeed have had advanced discussions with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
A meeting between the player’s mother and Faouzi Lakjâa, the president of the FRMF, would have taken place during a visit to the Mohammed VI football complex in Maamora. An agreement would be in sight for the prodigy to wear the national team’s colors.
Ali-Cho’s name had already been mentioned when Vahid Halilhodzic was the coach of the Atlas Lions. He had hinted that he preferred the French team. If this is confirmed, it would be a major recruit for the national team coach, Walid Regragui.
Mohamed Ali-Cho has already defended the colors of the English youth teams until 2016 and recently for the French under-21 team. He currently plays for Real Sociedad, who recruited him for 10 million euros from Angers.
