Bayer Leverkusen’s Amine Adli Opts for Morocco National Team Over France

Born in Béziers to Moroccan parents, Bayer Leverkusen striker Amine Adli, who has played for the French U18 and U21 teams, would have chosen to join the den of the Atlas Lions.
Has Amine Adli chosen his sporting nationality? He would have told the beInSport correspondent that he was going to join the Moroccan squad, the country of his parents. The one who has defended the colors of the Blues with the U19 and the Espoirs would have hailed the historic and exceptional journey of the Atlas Lions at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, praised the national coach Walid Regragui, and indicated that he would try his luck with the A team. If the information were to be confirmed, the 23-year-old talent could be on the list of players selected for the Lions of the Atlas’ next two matches, on September 9 in Agadir against Liberia for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) qualifiers and on the 12th of the same month against Burkina Faso, in Lens, France, in a friendly match.
Walid Regragui will unveil this list at the press conference next Tuesday at the Mohammed VI football complex in Maâmora. It is not excluded that the Hispano-Moroccan-Equatorial Guinean Lamine Yamal, the youngest player in the history of FC Barcelona, will also be among the selected players. Photos of him and the coach of the Atlas Lions Walid Regragui suggest that he will join the Moroccan team.
