Repsol Tests New Biofuel in Toyota Hilux at Morocco Rally

Repsol has seized the opportunity of the 2021 Rallye du Maroc to test its new renewable fuel in the Toyota Hilux Overdrive of Isidre Esteve and Txema Villalobos. The product, made up of 50% biofuel, aims to reduce carbon emissions while increasing engine performance.
The Rallye du Maroc is the ideal opportunity to test this low-carbon renewable fuel that Repsol has produced. The Toyota Hilux Overdrive vehicle with driver Isidre Esteve was selected to evaluate this new product presented as a sustainable solution, in order to analyze the car’s performance in terms of power and response.

Over the three days of testing, Isidre Esteve and his co-driver Txema Villalobos covered 500 kilometers, which allowed Repsol technicians, in collaboration with the Overdrive Toyota team, to analyze all the vehicle’s telemetry data and collect the impressions of the Catalan driver in order to draw all the conclusions on the operation of this new biofuel.
