Repeat Offender Arrested in Nador: Weapons Cache and Drugs Seized in Home Raid

A 22-year-old repeat offender was arrested by the public security elements of the provincial district of Nador. He would be involved in a case of drug and psychotropic trafficking.
In a press release, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that the suspect was apprehended following a complaint received by the Nador police services from two victims accusing the suspect of having threatened them with a knife during a dispute in the "Taouima" district in Nador.
It was during a search of the suspect’s home that the police were able to seize a hunting rifle, 32 cartridges, nine bladed weapons, a quantity of "ecstasy" type psychotropic tablets, a balaclava and a wig. Eleven mobile phones and a sum of money suspected of being the proceeds of this criminal activity were also seized.
Pending the results of the investigation opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, the accused was placed in custody, the DGSN said in its press release.
