Renowned Moroccan Actor and Playwright Anouar Al Joundi Dies at 59

The artist, actor and playwright Anouar Al Joundi, died on Tuesday in Rabat after a long illness. This son of artists was 59 years old.
This son of artists got involved in the theater at the age of 12, in the role of a Palestinian child in the play "Al Qadia", written by his father.
A multi-talented artist, the late Anouar Al Joundi was also the author of several plays and participated in film and television works, including the film "Abdou chez les Almohades" and the series "Al Oussia", "Rabii Cortoba" and "Zhar Al Batoul".
Anouar Al Joundi came from an artistic family par excellence. His late father Mohamed Hassan Al Joundi was a celebrity of Moroccan and Arab cinema and theater. The late Fatima Benmeziane, his mother, also left her mark on theater, cinema and television through her works.
