Record-Breaking Heat Wave Grips Morocco as Nation Celebrates Eid Al Fitr

The heat wave continues in Morocco, with a temperature record exceeding 40 degrees. Vigilance is required on this day of celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
The heat wave is to be feared on the interior plains, the Souss, the southeast and the south of the country despite some low clouds in the morning and night with foggy formations on the coasts, the Atlantic plains and the Mediterranean.
The minimum temperatures expected in the morning are around 10 to 17 degrees on the Atlas mountains, the Rif and the eastern High Plateaus, 24 to 30 degrees on the Saïss, the interior of the Gharb, the Loukkos, the plains of Tadla, Tensift and Rhamna, the Souss, the southeast and the interior of the southern provinces and 17 to 24 degrees elsewhere.
In the afternoon, it will be between 24 and 30 degrees on the Atlas mountains, the Rif, the eastern High Plateaus, the extreme north of the Oriental, the Mediterranean and the Tangier region, 30 and 36 degrees on the rest of the Oriental, the southeast and near the Atlantic coasts, 36 and 43 degrees on the Saïss, the northern and central interior plains, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the Souss, the extreme southeast and the north of the southern provinces and 43 and 45 degrees on the extreme south of the country.
