Real Valladolid Honors Moroccan Star Jawad El Yamiq for World Cup Heroics

After his laudable performance in Qatar, Moroccan international Jawad El Yamiq was honored by his club, Real Valladolid.
Thanks to Morocco’s run, Moroccan player Jawad El Yamiq received two framed photos. The first is of his Moroccan jersey and the second represents his superb overhead kick against France in the semi-finals. He was rewarded for being the first Real Valladolid player to reach a World Cup semi-final.
A nice gesture that moved the player despite the club’s defeat against Rayo (0-1). "Sad after today’s defeat on our soil, we are aware of the need to improve to come back strong, on the other hand proud of this honor held by my country after the historic World Cup with our national team in Qatar, where we lived historic moments in every sense of the word," he wrote on Instagram before thanking the club for the tribute paid to him.
