Moroccan Defender El Yamiq Set for Saudi Move as Real Valladolid Agrees Transfer to Al Wehda

Jawad El Yamiq could bid farewell to Real Valladolid. The club is reportedly close to finalizing the transfer of the Moroccan central defender to Al Wehda in Saudi Arabia.
Jawad El Yamiq’s contract with Real Valladolid runs until 2024, but the Spanish club has already finalized the agreement with the Saudi club Al Wehda for his transfer for an amount between 1.1 and 1.4 million euros, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The Moroccan central defender is expected to earn three times his salary at Al Wehda. We’re talking about an amount of 2.7 million euros. If his transfer is effective, Valladolid would be left with only Javi Sánchez, Enzo Boyomo and David Torres in defense, which would force them to recruit.
