Real Madrid Eyes PSG’s Hakimi in High-Stakes Transfer Battle

Real Madrid would have entered into negotiations to recruit Achraf Hakimi, after securing the services of his friend and former PSG teammate, Kylian Mbappé. The Parisian club has no intention of parting with the Moroccan right-back.
Achraf Hakimi, born in Madrid, would be courted by the mythical club of the Spanish capital where he started his professional career before joining Dortmund, Inter Milan, and then Paris Saint-Germain. Real Madrid wants a return of the Moroccan international to strengthen its defense, reports the Spanish press, indicating that this sudden interest of the Madrid club for its former player is not motivated by the arrival at Bernabeu of his friend and former teammate Kylian Mbappé.
In any case, a transfer of the PSG right-back to Real Madrid is likely to be complicated, observes Foot01. The player’s contract with PSG runs until June 2026 and the Parisian club’s management has no intention of letting go of an exceptional talent like Hakimi. Paris would have already started negotiations to extend the contract of the Atlas Lion in order to kill Real Madrid’s desire to sign him. Hakimi, for his part, has repeatedly stated that his heart beats only for Real.
