Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz Exits Match Early with Thigh Injury, Morocco Concerned

Real Madrid suffered a new blow during their match against Nayef Aguerd’s Real Sociedad. Brahim Diaz, surprisingly named in the starting lineup, had to leave the field prematurely in the 23rd minute, victim of a right thigh injury.
The action that led to his substitution took place a few minutes earlier. Brahim, after a ball recovery, had launched Mbappé into depth with a superb pass. But the joy of this action was short-lived, the player immediately touching his leg.
Despite an attempt to continue the game, the pain proved too strong and Brahim had to give way to Rodrygo. A blow for the midfielder who was returning to form after a successful international break with the Moroccan national team.
This injury adds to the long list of unavailable Real Madrid players, already deprived of Alaba, Ceballos, Camavinga, Bellingham and Tchouameni.
The exact nature of Brahim’s injury has not yet been communicated by the club, but Carlo Ancelotti mentioned a discomfort in the adductor. The player will undergo further tests to determine the severity of his injury and the duration of his unavailability.
One thing is certain, Brahim will miss the next Champions League match against Stuttgart next Tuesday. And if it takes longer, he could miss the next matches of the Moroccan national team scheduled for October.
